David Arsenault is a fine artist who lived virtually all his life in New York. He recalls first being inspired by art when he came across a reproduction of Edward Hopper’s 1940 painting 'Gas' in a school library book. Little did he know that 20 years later, he would himself attempt to express on canvas what words could not convey. The Wall Street Journal was quoted as saying that "Some of Mr. Arsenault's paintings could pass for works by Edward Hopper—just at a thousandth of the price." He studied graphic design at Sage College and painting at the University at Albany, both in New York. Da David Arsenault is a fine artist who lived virtually all his life in New York.
